Linguestico (formerly iLingua) is a iPhone translation application. The app has over 1200 phrases which also have audio clips.

The original version had credits you can buy with in app purchase and connect you directly to a translator if you ever got stuck somewhere abroad.

However, this feature didn’t take off as the credits were quite expensive.
